Some items require more than a strong back. A 400‑kilo concert grand, an antique sideboard with a marble top or an industrial safe: these are items where one wrong move can cause lasting damage. We are well aware of that. We prepare thoroughly for exactly this type of work and use equipment you do not find at an average moving company.
For every special transport request we perform a detailed risk assessment. We look at weight, dimensions, fragility and accessibility. Can the item go through the stairwell or is a moving lift or even a crane needed? Does it fit through the doorway or should it go via the balcony? We answer those questions in advance, not on the day itself. That prevents surprises and unnecessary costs. After inspection you receive a clear quote with the planned approach.
