More than a move: a new beginning
A move later in life is rarely only practical. Often there is more: the family home becomes too large, health requires single-floor living, or a partner is gone. We are aware of that background. Our team takes time, reassures and works at a calm pace. No rush, no pressure, just attention to you as a person.
In practice that means: we like to stop by in advance for a cup of coffee and a good conversation. Not only to inventory the household, but also to hear what is important to you. Which piece of furniture must go? Where should grandpa's painting hang? And is there a fixed place for your favorite chair? We write that down so your new home feels familiar from day one. It may sound small, but that personal approach makes the difference.
We are happy to work together with children, caregivers and care coordinators. They are welcome at the inventory and on moving day. No family nearby? Then our team is happy to take that role. We help you sort items, arrange removal of excess belongings and manage the full move from old to new home. Including placing kitchen items if you prefer. And if you notice after the move that a piece of furniture should be moved, we are happy to come back.
